BEARING

bearing (noun): 1. the direction or position of something, or the direction of movement, relative to a fixed point; 2. awareness of one’s position relative to one’s surroundings.
The intense frustrations, heartache and joy of everyday motherhood are candidly conveyed in this film using intimate observational vignettes, giving a frank and raw account of the filmmaker’s life as a new mum over the first five years of her daughter’s life.
